Middle and High-School Enrichment Activities
An education at Community Christian Academy extends beyond the traditional classroom to include extracurricular activities that enhance content learning, expose students to new experiences, and develop additional interests and talents. A full array of enrichment opportunities develops well-rounded, enthusiastic learners.

Athletics
Students can hone their athletic and team-building skills by participating in after-school competitive sports such as volleyball, basketball, soccer, and cross country.

Drama
Whether it is Shakespeare or original skits, students delight audiences with their dramatic performances.

Robotics
Using coding, building, and problem-solving skills, students create and program robots to complete various tasks.

Art
Students design, paint, sculpt, draw, and create using various mediums.

Destination Imagination
Students create dramatic engineering and fine arts presentations for regional competition. Each year, we have had a team qualify for global competition!

Science Fair
Each year, some students choose to present their science-fair projects at the Virginia Piedmont Regional Science Fair, and often students place in their categories!

Field Trips
Some of the fun educational field trips include Shenandoah Caverns and American Celebration on Parade, Colonial Williamsburg, Agecroft Hall and Gardens, Science Museum of Virginia, and the Bible Museum.

Community Service
We demonstrate our care for our community by serving at the Salvation Army, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), and multiple nursing homes.

Special Events
Winter and spring dances, Spirit Week, and Field Day are just a few of the activities that spice up the daily routines.
