Elementary Enrichment Activities

An education at Community Christian Academy extends beyond the traditional classroom to include extracurricular activities that enhance content learning, expose students to new experiences, and develop additional interests and talents.  A full array of enrichment opportunities develops well-rounded, enthusiastic learners.

Whether it is singing, playing instruments, or performing in multiple music programs, students develop a love for music and develop music skills through weekly music classes.

Field Trips

Each grade enjoys two field trips a year.  Virginia Safari Park, Blackfriars Playhouse, Natural Bridge, Jamestown, and Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens are just a few fun educational destinations.

Physical Education

In addition to being SO MUCH FUN, weekly PE classes build students’ strength, coordination, and teamwork through various exercises, activities, and team games.

Community Service

As Christ-followers, serving others is a key value, so each grade participates in community service opportunities each year.
