Community Christian Academy Lower School K-5th Grade 2024-25

Mission Statement

Community Christian Academy exists to glorify God by preparing students, well-grounded in knowledge and faith, for successful lives.  Seeking to reflect the diversity of the body of Christ, Community Christian Academy partners with families and other Christian organizations to promote transformation within our community.  The school’s goal is to develop critically-thinking students who will engage the culture by living lives that demonstrate scholarship, servant-leadership, and devotion to Christ and to mankind.

Vision Statement

Preparing all students to embrace and fulfill God’s unique plans for their lives.

First Class 2012-13 School Year

History of the School

Community Christian Academy was established in 2012 in response to God’s call to provide a Christ-centered, academically rigorous school that represents the natural socio-economic, ethnic, and educational diversity of His kingdom.  Glorifying God by making accessible what had previously been reserved for upper-income families is the heart and focus of our school.  Due to the generous support of CrossLife Community Church, we moved into the former Merridale Preschool space and began with 11 students in grades K-3.

By 2021, the school had a complete elementary and middle school, waiting lists for enrollment, and no additional space.  This growth was the impetus for adding a separate middle-school location at RiverStone Church in 2022.

Continuing our long-term plan for a comprehensive K-12 school, Community Christian Academy is establishing the area’s first private Christian multi-pathway high school with the launch of ninth grade in the fall of 2025 and the addition of one grade each year thereafter.

My first nine years of school could not have been at a better place than CCA. On top of strong academics, they provided me with a strong spiritual foundation. Not only am I grateful for the academic and spiritual preparation, but through CCA, I made friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
