Engineering Technology

Community Christian Academy is partnering with Piedmont Virginia Community College to offer an engineering technology program to juniors and seniors.  This program is a good option for those interested in computer science, engineering, technology, electronics, and manufacturing.  Students will earn industry certifications in manufacturing technology and in either electronics or mechanical technology.

Additionally, students will have the opportunity to complete an internship and to earn an Associate of Applied Science degree from Piedmont Virginia Community College.  While many graduates may choose to enter the workforce after completing this high-school pathway, PVCC has an articulation agreement with Old Dominion University to transfer into ODU’s BS program for Mechanical Engineering Technology.
